Christmas break, Christmas break
Coming very near
Christmas break is coming soon
Then Christmas will be here

Snow is here, snow is here
Christmas coming fast
Winter starts the twenty-first
Then Christmas comes at last

Jasmin, 11, St. Paul, MN

Eating Christmas Cookies
And Running through the house
Opening the presents
And showing what you got (ho ho ho)

Bulbs on the tree glow
Making our house shine
What fun it is for the whole family
to gather on this day (oh!)

Our house smells
of Christmas cookies
And we all play along
Having Christmas
means a lot to us
And we have fun (hey!)
(repeat)

Oakley, 12, Farmington, MN

The Santa Snooze Rock

She dashed straight to his room
Trying not to slip
Her face clearly said doom
The Elves yelled, "get a grip"

The alarm clock didn't ring
Santa's still a-snooze
Kids didn't get their gifts this year,
Santa's gonna blow a fuse

CHORUS
Ring those bells
Ring those bells
Wake Santa today
It won't be fun
For kids to find
The gifts didn't leave the sleigh (HEY!)
(repeat)

I opened up my eyes
I ran to check my stocking
And much to my surprise
My parents were there talking

They said, "don't get upset."
Sure enough I started to scream,
"No presents on this Christmas day,
This must be a bad dream!"

(chorus)

Brandon, 12, Farmington, MN

Ornaments sparkling,
Sledding down the hill,
Christmas carolers singing,
The evening winter chill.

My brother gave me nothing,
boy am I real sad,
Santa gave some coal to me,
He must think I'm really bad.

Oh, Santa Claus,
Santa Claus,
Gave me nothing,
I really wish he got me,
My Barbie's SUV

Oh Santa Claus,
Santa Claus,
Gave me nothing,
I really wish he got me,
The Bratz Limousine

Christina & Sarah, 10, Woodbury, MN

Slipping on the ice,
Wherever we may go,
Snow is down our boots,
I think that snow is wrong,

It doesn't look quite right,
My face is going white,
I think I'll die of fright,
This snowy Christmas night,

Oh,
Snowball fight, snowball fight,
Look there's one right there,
Oh my gosh I think they just,
Hit me on the rear,
Hey!
Snowball fight, snowball fight,
Look there's one right there,
Oh my gosh I think just,
Hit me on the rear.

Alexander, 11, Woodbury, MN

Candy bars
candy bars
melted in my stocking
All over my bran new shirt
so Mommy had to go shopping

Daddy Daddy
he don't care he
just got new underwear

Grandma Grandma
made some pie
with egg shells on the side

made me choke
she went broke
and then she started to cry

sister sister
she just lies
cause she can not tie

so Santa brought her velcro
With a puppy on the side

So have some fun and do not lie also no egg shells on the side.

Amber & Aliesha, 12, 10, Cottage Grove, MN

dashing through the snow,
in a stantler sleigh.
a giant snorelax doll,
laughing all the way. ha! ha! ha!

making suicune bright.

caroling with jigglypuff
to bring the extra cheer!

under mistletoe!

Rebekah, 11, Cottage Grove, MN

Putting up the lights,
On our empty house,
We were so quiet,
We didn't wake a mouse.
Then goes up the tree,
It was nice and bright,
We were doing everything
To make Christmas just right.

CHORUS:
Christmas snow, Christmas snow,
Let's go out and play,
We can have some hot cocoa,
And make this a great day - OH!
(repeat)

When I woke up one day,
I looked out my window,
Just guess what I saw,
I saw Christmas snow.
I ran down the stairs,
Ate my breakfast fast,
I'll play outside real early,
And not a minute past.

(chorus)

Christmas eve has come,
We sat around the tree,
We had a lot o' fun,
With my family.
We passed out the presents,
I got really cool things,
Then we ran to the window,
To hear the carolers sing.

(chorus)
It was the night of Christmas eve,
I heard Santa Claus,
I ran up the stairs,
Then there was a pause.
I looked over the side,
I saw red and white,
I looked at the clock,
It was midnight.

(chorus)

Putting up the lights,
On our empty house,
We were so quiet,
We didn't wake a mouse.
Then goes up the tree,
It was nice and bright,
We were doing everything
And Christmas WAS just right.

(chorus)

Courtney, 12, Farmington, MN

If you go outside,
you'd get covered in snow,
then Santa will come and say,
"Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho",
OH
Falling snow, falling snow,
makes me feel so great!
I could go outside right now,
and do a figure eight!
Oh
Falling snow, falling snow,
makes me feel so great!
I could go outside right now,
and do a figure eight!

Jack, 10, Bemidji, MO

Snow-Ho-Flakes, Snow-Ho-Flakes,
Dancing in the wind,
The white ground is sparkling,
right when we drop in
"Hey!"

Snow-Ho-Flakes, Snow-Ho-Flakes,
Dancing in the wind,
The white ground is sparkling,
right when we drop in
"Hey!"

Sleds are sliding down
The white sparkling hills - having fun all day
Ooo-h kids are laughing and enjoying our flakey hills.
Ooo - h

Snow-Ho-Flakes, Snow-Ho-Flakes,
Dancing in the wind,
The white ground is sparkling,
right when we drop in
"Hey!"

Snow-Ho-Flakes, Snow-Ho-Flakes,
Dancing in the wind,
The white ground is sparkling,
right when we drop in
"Hey!"
