My Mom is baking cookies,
full of chocolate chips'
there is nothing I want more,
than a tiny nip.

Flying down the road,
rounding to our house,
smelling warm cookies,
and spotting our lit up house.

I hear the carolers singing,
the silver bells are ringing,
how wonderful it is to hear those sounds on
a crystal night.
OH

Flying down
Flying down,
Flying down the road,
out and in throughout the town,
around, around, around.

Kelsey, 9, Apple Valley, MN

Verse:
Running round the house,
Things are all astray,
Trying to get things done,
But nothing goes your way!
Wrappings on the floor,
Food left sitting out,
Where is that darn broom
that you just saw about?

Chorus (x2)
Oh!
Guests are here,
Family's near,
House is filled with love,
Everyone is coming to
celebrate the day!
Verse:
Presents everywhere,
People on the floor,
Everyone is listenin' to
Uncle Allen snore.
Tummy's full of food,
waiting for tonight,
When Santa Claus will come with
Things full of delight!

Chorus
Verse:
The house is creepy quiet,
everyone's in bed,
Waiting for the night when
Jesus rest's his head.
The sun is shining bright,
There's present's by the tree.
I sure do hope that Santa Claus
didn't forget me!! Chorus

Alison, 13, St. Cloud, MN

Verse
Now is that time of year for all that holiday cheer.
Lets raise our glasses high and shout to the sky!

Chorus
Oh we are so thankful for all that we have.
So lets spend the time we have with the ones that we love.

Rachel, 11, Fairmont, MN

Singing happy tunes
Around the Christmas tree
Santa's coming soon
He never forgets me
I can't wait tell the day
When Christmas finally comes
waiting for the sleigh
to get my set of drums

Oh Christmas eve, Christmas eve,
Waiting seems to long
I hope I've been good this year and righted all my wrongs
Oh Christmas eve, Christmas eve,
Waiting seems to long
I hope I've been good this year and righted all my wrongs

Singing happy tunes
Around the Christmas tree
Santa's coming soon
He never forgets me
I can't wait tell the day
When Christmas finally comes
waiting for the sleigh
to get my set of drums

Oh Christmas eve, Christmas eve,
Waiting seems to long
I hope I've been good this year and righted all my wrongs
Oh Christmas eve, Christmas eve,
Waiting seems to long
I hope I've been good this year and righted all my wrongs

Kathryn, 13, Detroit Lakes, MN

Dashing through our classroom,
Meeting all the kids,
Some of them are chatty,
Some of them are shy.

The girls like to dance,
The boys can be rowdy,
One boy named Derek loves to sing loudly.

Ms. B's class, Ms. B's class, Ms. B's class is really fun,
We do science, social studies and arithmetic,
Ms. B's class, Ms. B's class, Ms. B's does a lot,
Crafts, journal, reading are some of our favorites!

Teacher Megan Bjorgaard's Class, Apple Valley, MN

Christmas time, Christmas time
I love it when it snows
lightly sprinkling little stars
everybody knows--
Christmas time, Christmas time
Carolers are at my door
I clap my hands cheerfully
I want them to sing more--

Opening a gift
That a good friend gave to me
giving him one back
He's smiling happily
Singing Christmas songs
with my family
everybody's grinning--
we're all merry--

Christmas time, Christmas time
I love it when it snows
lightly sprinkling little stars
everybody knows--
Christmas time, Christmas time
Carolers are at my door
I clap my hands cheerfully
I want them to sing more--

Claire, 12, Eden Prairie, MN

Santa Claus, Santa Claus
Santa rides a sleigh
Throughout the snow he will go, giving lots of toys

He checks his list twice
to see if you're naught or nice
never needs to know, how to ho, ho, ho
bells on Christmas trees, making kids happy
oh what fun it is to sing this song all night, happy.

Sophie, 11, Eden Prairie, MN

Refrain
Merry times, Merry times, Merry times are here.
Oh, I love those merry times under the mistletoe, oh!

Refrain
Verse
Finding love is hard, in a broken hearted world
But once you find your love you go up and say, "you may not like me, but we can have some
fun, once you find our merry love we're in a love heart world!

Refrain

Alix, 11, Eden Prairie, MN

Dashing through the night,
on a nine reindeer sleigh
over the houses he goes, yelling all the way, ho, ho, ho,
bells on Rudolph's neck
jinglin' through the night,
oh what fun it is to hear Christmas songs tonight, oh,
the trees are green, snow is blue,
Santa's coming to town, oh what fun it is to see the presents under my tree!

Trees are green, snow is blue,
Santa's coming to town,
oh what fun it is to see,
the presents under my tree.

Ashley, 11, Eden Prairie, MN

Dashing through the snow,
with me to lead the way,
running into trees,
wrecking Santa's sleigh,
bells behind me ring,
they're making me nearly deaf
What a dread this mess is with Santa on his way, oh!

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells.
I wrecked Santa's sleigh,
Oh what fun it is to watch Rudolph run away!
Jingle Bells, Jingle bells,
I wrecked Santa's sleigh,
All-of his reindeer have-left him now so I'm to lead the way.

Margo, 11, Eden Prairie, MN

Cats and Dogs, cats and dogs,
pets in every way
Close your eyes and you will cry
for what they did today (woof)
Cats and dogs, cats and dogs,
very near to heart
but the tricks that they will play
are only just the start.

It's as if they know
just when you look away
behind the couch they'll go
and then proceed to spray

Just when you drop your guard
the lesson learned is hard
You'll look out in the snow
and see a spotted yellow yard.

Oh, Cats and dogs, cats and dogs
pets in every way
despite their tricks and troubled play
we love them anyway (meow)
cats and dogs, cats and dogs,
pets in every way
you might get mad, you might get sad
but they are sure to stay (meow).

Jessica, 13, Elysian, MN

went outside snow up to my knees
so I back inside had some hot cocoa
setting by the fire then went downstairs
by the tree playing game cube waiting
for family to come so we can exchanged presents

It's time for Christmas once agin
It's time for Christmas once agin
It's time for Christmas once agin
It's time for Christmas once again.

Trenton, 13, Ortonville, MN
