(You must say a few words fast because a line might be too long)

Big Strong Bears

They ran down the stairs
They crashed into walls
They bit off my hair
And popped my basketball
When I fo-und them
They were pretty tall
And when I looked at 'em
They destroyed the hall

Big strong bears, don't hurt me
I'm barely a snack
Hey look, it is a rake
That should keep them back

Big Strong Bears, running now
Making the-ir tracks
Now I just have to live
In my backyard shack

The shack has one window,
But suddenly I saw
The sky dropping it's snow
And I just watched in awe
Well, I was watching the snow,
But then I saw the paw
And it landed on my toe
But I managed to scream "arghh!"

Big strong bears, there's more now
What should I-I do?
Now I'm running through the woods
Oh no, I tripped on my shoe

Big strong bears, they were mean
They ate all our stew
Mom, I know it's a bad excuse
But I didn't do it, it's true!

Tyler, 11, Lakeville, MN

Take ingredients
Mix 'em in a bowl
Put 'em in the oven
Heated by some coal;
When we take it out
We'll put it together
When our cat smells the good smell
She will start to purr.

Chorus x2
Gingerbread, Gingerbread
Sweet and Spicy Cake
We will make a house with you
And then we'll decorate.

Soon we have a house
What a pretty sight
What a perfect thing to make
On a snowy night;
Now put the icing on
And put on some candies
All the sugar in the air
Makes me want to sneeze.

Chorus

Now we're nearly done
One more thing to add
But if we put the wrong thing on
It really will look bad;
Now we're really done
Let's put it way up high
So little itty-bitty mouths
Can't do anything but sigh.

Chorus

Mary & Carolyn, 10, Osceola, WI

Mary Gave Birth
riding through the night,
on a very old mule,
into the town she goes
trotting all the way,
cooing fills the air making angels sing,
whatever could tear apart The Virgin and God's King?

Chorus:
Oh! Mary gave,
Mary gave,
Mary gave birth,
to the one we call Jesus Christ our King!
Chorus

Meaghan, 11, Apple Valley, MN

Flying through the air,
with crystal snow-white hair,
reindeer on his sleigh,
oh happy joyful day.
Mornings coming soon,
so do not be a loon,
eat your cookies fast so fly off in a dash, Oh....

Santa Claus, Santa Claus,
come to the U.S.A.,
eat our cookies and drink our milk cause this is Christmas day.
Santa Claus, Santa Claus,
come to the U.S.A.,
eat our cookies and drink our milk cause this is Christmas day.

Jessica, 10, Apple Valley, MN

Running on the ice,
With my mothers shoes,
I hope they don't have lice,
I can't count by twos.

How do girls run,
In these pieces of junk,
They think they're number one,
Man that really stunk!
Oh,
Jingle bells, my armpits smell,
Should I take a bath,
I made my teacher faint in writing,
and also in math.
Oh,
Jingle bells, my armpits smell,
Should I take a bath,
Oh wait that's right I did last night,
After Rudolph blinded me with his bright light.

Nick, 11, Cottage Grove, MN

Dashing through the pantry, looking for some snacks,
Waiting for my dad, to bring home jumbo packs,
He should be coming soon, I really hope he does,
'Cause I am getting very hungry, I might starve to death.

Hurry up, hurry up, Hurry on your way!
Please don't take and longer, Please don't delay Hey!
Hurry up, hurry up, hurry on your way!
Then he tells me there just was some in our pantry!

Molly, 10, Dresbach, MN

I want a lot of thing, but I know I won't get all,
Will you try please to get it from the Mall!
I have been very good, Tho it's been a lot of work
Will you try please not to be a jerk.

Oh, Santa Claus, Santa Claus please bring me what I want,
I don't care what it is as long as it's not junk,
Santa Claus, Santa Claus please bring me what I want,
I don't care what it is as long as it's not junk.

Mary, 10, Dresbach, MN

Playing in the snow, turning back the hands of time,
Making old feel young again, laughing all the time,
Snowmen being made, in every front yard,
Snowballs being tossed near and far.

Playing, playing, playing all day long!
Oh, what fun it is to play all day long!
Playing, playing, playing all day long!
Oh, what fun it is to play all day long!

Erik, 9, LaCrescent, MN

Flying through the snow in a one string plastic sled,
Over hills we go screaming all the way.
Cheek on faces shiver, Making faces white,
How fun is it to ride and let the snow hit on this night.

Wooden bells, wooden bells, Building with some wood,
Oh what fun it is to build wooden bells, Oh,
Wooden bells, wooden bells, Building with some wood,
Oh what fun it is to build some wooden bells.

Colin, 9, LaCrescent, MN

Santa please help, my mom says I want too much,
But I think I need more so will you help me now?
I need some more stuff, I think I lost my touch,
So help me with my list of stuff so you know what I want

So_ Think, think, think,
Think, think, think,
Think of all you can put it in your bag and bring it Christmas night.
Think, think, think,
Think, think, think,
Think of all you can put in your bag and bring it Christmas night.

Laura, 10, LaCrescent, MN

Snow bells are ringing in the snow, and under the trees they go,
Jingling on the sleigh, ringing for every child;
Making loud noises, jingling all the time,
How loud it is to jingle in the snow filled sky tonight.

Santa Claus, Santa Claus, Santa's on his way,
Oh, traveling a long way to give us our presents today!
Santa Claus, Santa Claus, Santa's on his way,
Oh, traveling a long way to give us our presents today! HEY!

Ellie, 9, Hokah, MN

Wondering through the snow, building a snowman,
First I add the nose, then I add the scarf,
I won't forget the mouth, and last I add the hat, and eyes to the man's delight.

Santa's coming, Santa's coming, Santa's coming now,
Santa's coming bringing cheer and presents for us all,
Santa's coming, Santa's coming, Santa's coming now,
Sliding down the chimney bringing presents for us all.

Wondering through the snow looking for a tree,
I come upon so pretty to me,
I think I'll take it home, design it with my heart, It will be one big part of the Christmas day.

Santa's coming...

Jessica, 9, LaCrescent, MN
