Look at Santa go.
He's flying all the way.
O'er the snow he goes,
ho-hoing all the way. (ho ho ho)
Bells on reindeer ring,
oh what a pretty sight.
How fun it is to open gifts on Merry Christmas Night.

Ooooohhh...

Santa Claus, Santa Claus, Santa Claus hooray!
I can't wait to sing and laugh on Merry Christmas day! Hey!
Santa Claus, Santa Claus, Santa Claus hooray!
I can't wait to sing and laugh on Merry Christmas day!

Sam and Shantel, 13, Becker, MN

Slipping on the ice
It didn't feel very nice
My friends were all laughing
I thought about attacking
I made a big snowball
To throw at them all
They were crying real loud
And I felt very proud - oh

Snowball fights, snowball fights, They are very fun.
If you're gonna start one then you better run.
Snowball fights, snowball fights, They are very fun.
We like cold weather and not the shining sun.

Katie, 13, Pierz, MN

It's that time of year, when the trees are nice and bright;
Friends and family near, laughing through the night.
Stockings hung with care, gifts are under the tree,
the Christmas smell is in the air, as we sit and sip our tea. Hey!

REFRAIN
Christmas time, Christmas time, it's that time of year,
best friends get together for a snowball fight to fear. Christmas time, Christmas time, it's that time of year,
best friends get together for a snowball fight to fear.

Chugging down eggnog is a treat I like to know;
playing linking logs, jumping in the snow.
Mistletoe is hung, wreaths are all in place, the carolers have come and sung their joyous songs of grace. Hey!

REFRAIN

Sledding down a hill, zooming quickly past the trees;
had my cookie fill, Santa hurry please.
Mary in a stall, cold as cold can be, the shepherds and the wise men there in awe on bended knee.

REFRAIN

Shane, 13, Marshall, MN

Holidays, Holidays

I've heard its been bad this year
and I have to go to school!

Santa's coming on the roof
and his reindeer will neigh.

snowflakes, snowflakes
falling every day
the kids jumped on the lake then they got a tooth ache.

Jenna, 10, Woodbury, MN

went down to the mall,
sat on Santa's lap,
told him that for Christmas I waned a laptop,
Oh!

chorus:
big round man, big round man,
you could use a shave,
I once wondered how much those elves got paid a day,
Oh! (repeat chorus)

I wonder what it's like up at the North Pole,
Is it just a bunch of snow?
Or is it like down here?
(repeat chorus)

Craig, 10, Woodbury, MN

Toys 'R us,
Toys 'R us,
Santa needs the royals,
Told the giraffe, to get a laugh,
And get himself a raft, hey!

Walking down the aisle,
Looking at the wild,
The brides name is rhino,
Watching all the dinos,
Santa Claus is coming,
Only at the wedding the kids are going sledding,
Because they want some of that spaghetti
Oh!

Toys 'R us,
Toys 'R us,
Santa needs the royals,
Told the giraffe, to get a laugh,
And get him self a raft, hey,

Jeff, 9, Woodbury, MN

BASKETBALL
Bouncing back and forth
Doing the motion play
Back and forth we go
Passing all the way!
Buzzers 'bout to ring
Making crowds go wild
Oh! what fun it is to play this game tonight.

Oh! Basketball, Basketball,
bouncing all the way
Oh what fun it is to play this game today
(repeat)

Breanna, 12, Farmington, MN

Sledding through the snow
Watching out for trees
Wearing a big red bow
Saying mama please

Why won't you get me a sled
A sled that's big and red
One that I can ride all night
and never go to bed
Oh

I want a sled I want a sled
Please raise my allowance mom
I need a loan Don't raise your tone
But I really want a sled

Finally Finally
My mom bought me a sled
In fact I'm going out right now
But soon I'll be in bed

Molly and Megan, 10 and 8, Woodbury, MN

(Verse:)
Santa's CIA,
Spyin' on kids,
Makes me just sick,
Knowin' that this,

Kindly old elf,
With satellites galore,
Works for CIA,
The one whom we adore,

UGHH!

(Chorus:)
Santa's Laws,
Santa's Laws,
State that he's OK,
But the FBI came and,
Took his toys away!

Santa's Laws,
Santa's Laws,
Mocked the FBI,
They took Santa Claus,
And smashed him in a pie.

HoHoHo!

Nevin, 12, Maplewood, MN

"A Nightmare"
Verse: Dashing through my closet,
looking for a blouse.
Oh, my gosh, what happened - I just saw a mouse.
Screaming down the hallway,
I tripped down the stairs. I looked up and saw my brother in his underwear.

Chorus: Oh, what a sight, what a sight, what a bad sight,
and just to think I saw all this on a Christmas night! (repeat)
