It's the time of year, to string up Christmas lights
As we wait to hear, sleigh bells in the night
From people that we meet, Seasons greetings we receive,
Shopping's done, songs are sung,
At last it's Christmas eve!

All is well, as children tell, Santa they've been good
Christmas trees, light up the streets, In our neighborhood
Cookies baked, set on a plate,
Santa's on his way
