Build a Better Bumper Sticker
Official Contest Rules

Prizes: 3 winners will each have their bumper sticker slogan printed up on a bumper sticker and receive 100 copies of that bumper sticker.

How to Win: No purchase necessary. Use the Web form to enter or mail your entry to MPR Bumper Sticker Contest, 45 E. 7th Street, St. Paul, MN 55101. Include your name, address, and daytime phone number with your entry. Entries must be original. All entries must be received by 5:00 pm CT, September 2, 1999.

Eligibility: Limit of ten entries per person. Anyone 18 years of age or older is eligible to win the "Build a Better Bumper Sticker" contest. Employees of Minnesota Communications Group (MCG) and its related organizations, their immediate family, or persons living in the same household are not eligible to win. The contest is open to any United States resident. Void where prohibited by law.

Selection and Notification of Winner: The winners will be selected by MPR's panel of judges and announced on the air during MPR's broadcast from the State Fair on Friday, September 3, 1999. All decisions of the judges are final. Winners will be notified by email, telephone, or in writing. If the announced winner is unable to collect the prize, or if MPR is not able to contact winners within 30 days of the announcement of the winners, the prize will be re-awarded to other finalists of the remaining original entries. Winners must provide identification and sign a release and a receipt for the prize awarded.

General: Participants agree to the Official Rules, and that Minnesota Public Radio, MCG, and related organizations, and their agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the contest. Participants also agree to grant Minnesota Public Radio the right to use their name, image, or other likeness without further compensation for advertising or promotional purposes.

All entries become the property of Minnesota Public Radio and may be read on the air or published in print or electronic form. Entries may be edited for content, clarity, or length. Entrants agree that their name may be used in association with their submission, and warrant that their submission is their own original work.

Privacy: Information provided on all entries may be used for future marketing purposes by Minnesota Public Radio.

Terms and Conditions: Odds of winning dependent on number of entries. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
