Minnesota Public Radio announces
its largest capital campaign ever
Most of $46 million campaign will fund expanded broadcast and production center
in downtown St. Paul; rest will support new programming initiatives

Overview
Minnesota Public Radio is in the public phase of its capital campaign, "The Next Standard." This $46 million campaign will used to expand Minnesota Public Radio's facilities in downtown St. Paul and strengthen its technological infrastructure ($41 million); and to invest in new programming initiatives ($5 million). The campaign is expected to reach its goal by December 2005.

Construction on Minnesota Public Radio's broadcast and production center in St. Paul began on June 22, 2004. The new facilities are scheduled to be completed by summer 2006.
