Minnesota Public Radio Presents an Evening of Story and Song with Kevin Kling and Simone Perrin Wednesday, April 1 in the UBS Forum

WHEN: 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1

WHERE: Minnesota Public Radio's UBS Forum, 480 Cedar, St. Paul

TICKETS: $20. MPR member's tickets are $10. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, March 18 and can be purchased through the Fitzgerald Theater box office, 651-290-1221.

WHAT: Storyteller and author Kevin Kling collaborates with Simone Perrin for this singular evening of story and song in The UBS Forum. The program will include Simone on vocals and accordion, along with Dan Chouinard on accordion, vocalist Prudence Johnson, guitarist Robert Bell, violinist Gary Shulte and the Brass Messengers.

About Kevin Kling
Kevin Kling is a well-known playwright and storyteller, known for stage shows like Tales from the Charred Underbelly of the Yule Log. His commentaries can also be heard on NPR's All Things Considered; his plays and adaptations deliver hilarious and often tender stories, and have been performed around the world. He lives in Minneapolis.

About Simone Perrin
Simone Perrin is a Minnesota-based theater artist, composer, vocalist and accordionista. "She has a sweet, high, and occasionally raw voice, and under the stage lights she takes on the image of a goofy tomboy in one moment and gorgeous ingénue the next." ~ City Pages
