Minnesota Public Radio News Announces News Fellowship to Discuss and Analyze First Year of Barack Obama's Presidency

February 5, 2009

Minnesota Public Radio is taking applications for a News Fellowship, which will discuss and analyze the first year of Barack Obama's presidency. The program's goal is to bring people from diverse backgrounds and experiences together.

Fellows will attend eight weeknight discussions and read approximately six selections of written material from March to December 2009, in order to share a common reading and discussion base. Fellows will also be asked to draw upon their own personal experiences, views and opinions during the discussions--some of which will be edited for MPR News broadcast.

Applications will be accepted throughout February 2009. Go to mpr.org to and click on the News Fellowship link in the Shortcuts menu.
