Go online to send a loved one a Minnesota Public radio Love Note

January 30, 2009

(St. Paul, Minn.) January 29, 2009—Beginning February 1 and lasting through Valentine's Day, Minnesota Public Radio® will offer a unique and fun way to spread the love through e-cards that feature a link to one of 14 romantic songs.

Minnesota Public Radio's Love Notes feature hosts from Minnesota Public Radio's three services—News, Classical and The Current,® including Gary Eichten, John Birge, Mary Lucia and others, who have selected 14 of their favorite romantic songs for audiences to listen to, read about and share online at www.mpr.org/lovenotes. Audiences can choose their favorite musical selection and send it to a loved one by way of a link in a customized e-card.

On the morning of Valentine's Day, Saturday, February 14, Classical Minnesota Public Radio will play many of these songs, along with other classical romantic pieces. Listeners can tune in to Classical Minnesota Public Radio stations statewide, including KSJN 99.5 FM in the Twin Cities.
