Lynne Rossetto Kasper's show at the Fitzgerald Theater will take you beyond the written page and kitchen into the serendipitous tangle that is modern-day eating. Today, food embraces nearly every dimension of how we live. From fantasy to science, from sex to satire, from politics to art, this is the night it all comes together on stage. Special guests will include The Splendid Table road correspondents Jane and Michael Stern.

The celebration of food is at the center of The Splendid Table's weekly culinary, culture and lifestyle program. Lynne Rossetto Kasper has a distinctively modern take on food—how it nourishes us, puzzles us, inspires us, makes us laugh, makes us curious and opens us to the world around us. The Splendid Table's How to Eat Supper compiles the most trenchant tips, never-fail recipes and everyday culinary know-how from the program in a kitchen companion unlike any other. As they do on The Splendid Table, Lynne Rossetto Kasper and Sally Swift approach The Splendid Table's How to Eat Supper with attitude and originality, making it one of the most engaging cookbooks of this or any other year.

The Splendid Table broadcasts on Minnesota Public Radio's News and Information stations, including KNOW 91.1 FM in the Twin Cities, on Saturdays at 2 p.m. and re-broadcasts on Sundays at 6 a.m. For more information, visit www.splendidtable.org.
