American Public Media | Minnesota Public Radio announces the appointment of Catherine Stine as director of institutional giving

American Public Media | Minnesota Public Radio announced today the appointment of its new director of institutional giving, Catherine Stine.
Stine joins APM|MPR with 25 years of grant-seeking experience from the University of Minnesota, Minnesota Technology, Inc. and Saint Paul Public Schools. As assistant director of the Office of Fund Development at Saint Paul Public Schools, Stine led the increase of annual grant awards from $9 million to $26 million over three years. She also put systems in place to standardize their grants process, allowing the team to become more efficient. Stine has a master's degree in education and a Bush Fellowship in community economic development and public policy, agricultural and applied economics.
As director of Institutional Giving, Stine will lead the development team in managing and growing a portfolio of grant revenue from more than 100 different grantors. She will be responsible for fostering relationships with regional and national foundations and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to build support for advancing APM|MPR's mission.
