Minnesota Public Radio announces appointment of Patty Mester as new regional network manager, Duluth

Minnesota Public Radio announced today the appointment of its new regional network manager for Duluth, Patty Mester.

Mester comes to Minnesota Public Radio from the American Heart Association in Duluth, where she was director of corporate events. Prior to that, she was national sales manager with Complete Mobility Systems in Roseville, Minn., and regional sales director with nii communications, inc. in San Antonio, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

"We are very pleased that Patty will be managing the Duluth district," said Kristi Booth, regional network director. "She brings with her a wealth of experience and will be key to maintaining and establishing partnerships as well as our audience outreach throughout the region."

In Mester's role as regional network manager, she will administer operations of network stations throughout the region and work with community members, audiences and educational sponsors.

In her free time, Mester volunteers with the Tweed Museum of Art and St. Mary's Grief Support.
