WHAT: 89.3 The Current and The Citizens League are pleased to announce the next installment in our "Policy and a Pint" series. We will present author Tamara Draut and MPR’s personal finance expert Chris Farrell in a discussion about "Strapped: Why America's 20- and 30-somethings Can't Get Ahead." That's Draut's new book, which takes a look at the new obstacle course facing young adults as they try to build careers, buy homes and start families. 89.3 The Current's Steve Seel will host. Draut will also appear on Minnesota Public Radio News Midmorning program on Feb. 8.
About the "Policy and a Pint" series
"Policy and a Pint" is an ongoing series co-sponsored by Minnesota Public Radio's The Current. Its goal is to provide an informal setting for the public to come and discuss important policy issues with community leaders and thinkers.
