The Minnesota Family Album
You can use this Web page to tell about your own family. (It's a great family activity!) When you finish your stories, you can donate your Family Album to the Minnesota Historical Society, which will archive it forever. Ten, twenty, even a hundred years from now, your family's descendants will be able to see what you were thinking about family life back in 1997. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Write your family into history! Print out this Family Album page and respond to the questions. Attach a photo if you'd like, but please identify everyone by writing on the back of the photograph. You may submit your album pages one of the following ways: Please take a moment to answer the following questions about your family. 1. What is your family's favorite "family story," the one that's told over and over again?
2. What traditions or rituals are most important to your family?
3. Families today get help from many different people and places in their communities. Who or what keeps your family strong?
4. What would you like families 100 years from now to remember about you and your family?
Names and ages of the people filling out the form:
